Characteristics and Habits

白犀牛正確的名稱是方唇犀(Wide→White)，分布在非洲草原，成年白犀牛重達3000多公斤，是陸地上體形第二大的動物，尖角是由角質硬化形成。母犀牛率領未成年的犀牛群居，成熟公犀牛獨居，以糞便和尿液劃分領域，只在交配時一起生活幾天。 白犀牛能用時速50多公里奔跑，遇到危險時犀牛群會圍成圈，頭角朝外防禦。一天中一半時間都在進食，喜歡泡泥漿降溫。 The white rhinoceros is the second largest land animal in the world, and also known as the square-lipped rhinoceros due to its wide lips. The rhino's horns are made of keratin, and they are often killed because of these horns. Female rhinos live with the young rhinos, and mature male rhinos live by themselves. They spend half of their day eating, and they also like to stay in the mud to get cool.
